Ge An Yi Lu was compiled by Nan Shigu (1509~1571), a scholar who lived in Korea . It's said that Nan was a man with extensive knowledge of astronomy and geography and that he was able to foretell the future. It is said that when he was young he visited Jingang Mountain and met a deity there who passed on to him some mysterious messages. Nan 's composition of the messages was titled Ge An Yi Lu .
Divided into 60 sections, the composition consists of approximately 40,000 Chinese characters. The contents of the book were unknown to the word for 450 years, and became a hot topic in South Korea during the early 1990s. At last, after nearly 500 years, the secrets of Ge An Yi Lu have now been decoded by a poet, Mr. Zheng Hao, a Chinese literature professor in South Korea . |
